When Sabius runs on a customer's own website, that customer is the controller for those conversations and Danke acts as processor under a data processing agreement. This policy covers danke.global itself.

Contact form

Data: name, email address, your message, the interface language, and technical data used to prevent abuse (IP address, submission timestamp and an anti-bot token).

Purpose: to answer your enquiry and take the pre-contractual steps you ask for; to keep the form usable by limiting automated submissions.

Legal basis: Article 6(1)(b) GDPR (steps at your request prior to a contract) and, for the anti-abuse controls, Article 6(1)(f) (our legitimate interest in protecting the service).

Retention: 12 months for enquiries that do not lead to a contract; for contractual correspondence, the duration of the contract plus 6 years (Spanish commercial limitation period).

Email and telephone

If you write or call us, we process the contact details and content you provide, in order to respond and to manage our business relationship.

Legal basis: Article 6(1)(b) or 6(1)(f) GDPR depending on whether you are a prospective client or a third party contacting us.

Retention: 12 months for correspondence that does not lead to a contract; for contractual correspondence, the duration of the contract plus 6 years (Spanish commercial limitation period).

Sabius AI assistant

The chat widget on this site is Sabius, an AI assistant operated by Danke. Conversations are handled by an automated system; you can ask to be passed to a person.

Data: the messages you send, optional voice input if you use the microphone (converted to text), a session identifier stored in your browser, and technical data such as approximate time, page and browser characteristics.

Purpose: to answer your questions about our services, to route the conversation to a colleague when needed, and to keep the service secure and working.

Legal basis: Article 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual steps at your request) and Article 6(1)(f) (our legitimate interest in operating and securing the assistant). Consent is used only where we ask for it separately — for example marketing follow-up.

Please do not type health data, identity documents, credentials or other sensitive information into the chat. If you need to discuss such matters, write to info@danke.global instead.

The assistant is operated by Danke (Sabius) on Danke's own infrastructure. Conversations on this site are not used to train third-party models.

Retention: 12 months for Sabius transcripts on danke.global.

Server and security logs

Our web server and reverse proxy record request metadata — IP address, timestamp, requested URL, status code, user agent — to keep the site available and to detect abuse.

Legal basis: Article 6(1)(f) GDPR (security and continuity of the service).

Retention: 90 days.

Recipients and processors

We share personal data only as needed to operate this site, and with public authorities where the law requires it. We do not sell personal data and we do not use advertising networks on this site.

Recipients: (a) Danke staff who need the data to answer you; (b) Google Ireland Ltd / Google LLC, which delivers contact-form messages by SMTP; (c) hosting and reverse-proxy infrastructure operated by Danke.

International transfers

Contact-form email is sent through Google (smtp.gmail.com) and may leave the EEA. Those transfers are safeguarded by Standard Contractual Clauses. The Sabius assistant on this site is operated by Danke on Danke infrastructure. We do not otherwise transfer your data outside the EEA.

Your rights

You may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and object to processing based on legitimate interest. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time without affecting prior processing.

Write to info@danke.global. We may ask for information to verify your identity, and we answer within one month, extendable by two further months for complex requests.

You may also lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency, www.aepd.es, C/ Jorge Juan 6, 28001 Madrid.

Security

The site is served over TLS. Access to systems that hold personal data is restricted to the people who need it. Hosting and the reverse proxy are operated by Danke (self-hosted Docker). Contact-form messages are transmitted to our mailbox over TLS via Google.

Automated decisions and AI transparency

We do not take decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects about you by automated means.

Where you interact with our AI assistant, we tell you before the conversation starts that you are talking to an AI system, in line with Article 50 of the EU AI Act. You can always ask for a person instead.

Changes

We update this policy when our processing changes. The version in force is the one published on this page.
